Cresta Wins ICCAC Pitcher of the Week

Freshman pitcher Frankie Cresta (Johnston, Iowa) took home the Pitcher of the Week honors for his performance against Southeastern Illinois College on Sunday, March 24th. Cresta went 5 innings, allowed 5 hits, 2 runs (1 earned), while walking 2 and striking out 9 Falcon hitters in his college debut. Cresta would earn his first career collegiate victory in process. 

Coach Joey Pavlovich had this to say about Cresta's performance, "After a shaky start, Frankie settled in nicely and really got into a good rhythm. It was a much needed outing for us with a relatively short bullpen this weekend. I am excited about his progress and the direction in which he is headed. Hopefully he can continue to build off this early success."
