FRSHMAN YEAR (2017): Julia played in 50 games for the Lakers in her freshman year. In the leadoff position, she batted .404 with an on base percentage of .451. Julia had 72 hits, including; 9 doubles and 1 triple. Julia swiped 31 bases this past year and scored 55 times. Julia was on the Academic All-Region 2nd Team and All-Region 2nd Team this past year. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Julia played for the Totino-Grace High School Eagles. Julia was a 4-year starting shortstop for the Eagles. In her career she batted .330 with a .950 fielding percentage.  She was voted the Defensive MVP both her sophomore and junior year and was voted by her team to be captain her senior year. Julia was also named to the All-Conference team her sophomore year and Honorable Mention All-Conference her Junior year. 

PERSONAL: Julia is the daughter of Mike and Tippy Sullwold. She has one brother, Seth Sullwold, who just completed his baseball and academic careers at Iowa Lakes in 2016. The coolest place Julia has visited is Cooperstown, New York. Some of Julia’s nicknames are Jules and Little Sully. Her favorite foods are mac and cheese and popcorn and she likes the color purple. Julia enjoys the TV shows Teen Wolf and Chrisley Knows Best, the song The Fighter by Keith Urban ft. Carrie Underwood, and the movies Space Jam and 8 Mile.
