Iowa Lakes Softball Welcomes Kiley Hill

Iowa Lakes Community College Head Softball Coach, Katie Larson, announced the signing of Kiley Hill to the 2020-2021 recruiting class. Kiley is the daughter of Brian and Bobbi Hill and Tracy Hill and is a graduate of Roy High School in West Haven, Utah.

"Kiley is another outstanding student-athlete in our 2020 class," commented Coach Larson. "Kiley has a personality that makes you immediately love her. She is a genuine, kindhearted, and funny young lady."

A pitcher and outfielder for the Lions, Hill has found great success. Due to COVID-19, she did not get to compete in her senior season but did letter in the three previous seasons. Hill batted .333 with two doubles and two triples. She also had a .403 on base percentage in her career. In the circle, Hill allowed just 23 walks and 41 hits in her junior season. In her junior season, Hill and the Lions took third at the Utah High School State Softball Tournament.

Coach Larson also had this to say about Kiley's athletic skills, "Athletically, Kiley brings a good presence to the field. She knows how to work all planes of the plate and will bring a different look to our pitching staff. Additionally, Kiley will be a great addition to our outfield. She comes from a very well-respected travel ball program and we expect her to bring those same high expectations to Iowa Lakes. We cannot wait to get Kiley in the blue and gold jersey next year!"
