Iowa Lakes Community College Head Softball Coach, Katie King, has announced the signing of Kenzie Enter to the 2024-2025 recruiting class. Enter is the daughter of Ben and Stacy Enter and attends New Ulm Public High School in Minnesota.

"I am excited to see how high Kenzie's ceiling will be here at Iowa Lakes," commented Coach King. "Kenzie is an incredibly well-rounded student-athlete who will come in and instantly have an impact on our family. She is a driven and dedicated young lady that gives 100% at all times which is reflected in her daily life, academics, and athletics, and is an overall a good person."

A middle infielder, Enter has had a good career for the Eagles. In her career, she is batting .279 with 8 doubles, 5 triples, and 3 homeruns. She has also swiped 52 bases in her career. With four varsity letters in softball, Enter has been named to the All-Conference and All-Section teams, as well as the All-Journal team.

Kenzie is excited to become a Laker and had this to say, "I chose Iowa Lakes because of the small-town community and campus. The team chemistry between coaches and players is exactly what I am looking for. Coach King is committed to her players' success both on and off the field, and I am honored to have her as my coach and mentor at the next level!"

Enter has been a standout athlete her entire high school career. She also has four letters in varsity basketball and two letters in varsity volleyball. This past season, she was named to the All-Conference team in volleyball. Additionally, Enter has excelled in the classroom, earning high honors awards in all three years thus far.

Coach King is thrilled about Enter joining the team next year. "Kenzie comes from a very strong high school program that is taught how to do things the right way. She has strong fundamentals and a great sense of the game. We look for her to bring that competitive spirit and winning mindset to the program next year. I cannot wait to coach Kenzie and see how much she accomplishes here and in life!"
