FRESHMAN YEAR (2017): During the 2017 year, Leilani played in 50 games for the Lakers. She posted a .500 batting average, which tied the freshman batting average record at Iowa Lakes Community College. She had 84 hits, including; 21 doubles, 2 triples, and 11 homeruns. She batted in 53 runs, while crossing the plate 69 times herself. Leilani had a on base percentage of .543 and a slugging percentage of .845. For her efforts this past year, Leilani was awarded All-Region 2nd Team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Leilani is a graduate of Redlands East Valley High School. She is a three-year outfield starter for the Wildcats. In her senior year, Leilani posted a .432 batting average with a .482 on base percentage. She had 32 hits, 19 runs batted in, and 19 runs scored herself. She was named to the 2^nd All-League Team both her sophomore and junior year.

PERSONAL: Leilani is the daughter of James San Pedro and Samantha Gutierrez. She has three siblings; Jade, Mackenzie, and Journey. The most interesting place she has visited is the Dominican Republic. Leilani’s favorite food is pasta and her favorite color is teal. She enjoys fishing and hanging out with friends, watching the show the Vampire Diaries, and the movie 10 Things I Hate About You. Over the years, Leilani has gotten the nicknames Abby, Gail, Lei, and Lani. She hopes that one day she can be a therapist for troubled kids.
