(Estherville, Iowa) The Iowa Lakes Softball program is pleased to announce its 2023-24 Softball Camp schedule. This year's schedule includes a Softball Academy, a Youth Camp, and an Elite Camp with opportunities for athletes in kindergarten through 12th grade. 

The 2023-24 Softball Academy is a four-week academy held on Sunday, October 22 and 29, and November 5 and 12. The Academy for grades kindergarten through sixth will focus on offensive and defensive skills with sessions for grades kindergarten through third from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM and for grades fourth through sixth from 12:45 to 1:45 PM. The Academy for grades seventh through twelfth will run from 3:00 – 6:30 PM, featuring defense, offense, and pitching and catching sessions. Athletes in grades seventh through twelfth can sign up for individual sessions or a bundle package.

The Youth Camp will take place on Sunday, February 18, and will run from 1:00 to 3:00 PM for athletes in grades kindergarten through third and 3:30 to 5:30 PM for players in grades fourth through sixth. The camp will focus on offense and defense, where young athletes learn skills and drills from the Laker Softball Team. 

The Elite Camp will take place on Sunday, February 25, for athletes in grades seventh through twelfth. The camp will feature four sessions: outfield from 12:00 to 1:30 PM, hitting from 1:45 to 3:15 PM, infield from 3:30 to 5:00 PM, and pitching and catching from 5:15-6:15 PM. Athletes will have the option to sign up for individual sessions or a bundle package.
