Iowa Lakes Community College Head Softball Coach, Katie King, announced the signing of Korilynn Christians to the 2024-2025 recruiting class. Christians is the daughter of Cory and Michelle Christians and attends Millard North High School in Omaha, Nebraska. 

"We would like to welcome Korilynn and her family to the Iowa Lakes Softball family. Korilynn has played in programs that know how to win and compete on every pitch. That kind of tenacity and competitiveness is something that we are excited for her to bring with her to Iowa Lakes." Said Coach King. "Korilynn is going to do great things for this program both on and off the field. She is a standout person in every aspect of her life and understands that you also need to win off the field. We cannot wait to see what Korilynn can do in the blue and gold next year."

As an outfielder/utility player, Christians has lettered three times in softball.  During the 2021 and 2022 seasons, she was selected to the All-State Honorable Mention team in the state of Nebraska. In her senior campaign, Christians posted an impressive .536 batting average with a .577 on-base percentage. She recorded 37 hits, including 8 doubles, 4 triples, and 4 homeruns. Christians has also lettered two times in soccer and two times in wrestling.

"I chose Iowa Lakes because from the first time Coach King reached out to me, and especially on my visit, she along with Coach Larson made me feel comfortable. They got to know me personally and spent time creating a bond with me. I liked the small campus and the small town, but still being close enough to home to make a weekend trip back." Commented Christians. "Coach King has continued to check on how high school season, club season, and school is going. She has also helped me with this whole college process and made sure I got what I needed turned in. They have shown my family and I that they actually care."
