HIGH SCHOOL: Lexus is a graduate of Baltic high School in Baltic, South Dakota. As a shortstop, Gorospe held a .913 fielding percentage. She compiled a very impressive .571 batting average and a .643 on-base percentage. For Lexus’ hard work, she was selected to the All-State team in 2016 and 2017 and was awarded Best Defensive Player. Lexus was a very well-rounded high school student. She was a State Runner-Up in Powerlifting in 2017 and also lettered in track and volleyball. Academically, she received a varsity letter for three years, received the ACT National Career Readiness Certificate: Gold Standard, and was named to the Volleyball Academic All-State team. In band, Lexus received a Solo Ensemble Superior rating in 2014 and 2015 and a Solo Ensemble Excellent rating in 2017. In Art, she was runner-up at the Augustana Art Contest and was the winner of the Halloween Pumpkin contest and Arbor Day poster contest.

PERSONAL: Lexus is the daughter of Gary Gorospe and Amber Gorospe. Throughtout the years, she has gotten the nickname Lex and dreams of one day owning her own business. Lexus' favorite food is steak, color is yellow, TV show is The Offive or That's 70's Show, song is Dura by Daddy Yankee, and movie is Forest Gump. She enjoys listening to music while doing something artsy or playing dodgeball. The most interesting place that Lexus has visited is Texas.
