Kim Venteicher is the Athletic Training Program Manager/Head Athletic Trainer at Iowa Lakes Community College. She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the athletic training department and program as it relates to all Laker athletic teams. Kim also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Iowa Lakes.

Prior to being named the Head Athletic Trainer in 2022, Kim was employed as an outreach athletic trainer through Avera Holy Family Hospital for 6 years. In this role, she served as an assistant athletic trainer at Iowa Lakes and the head athletic trainer at Estherville Lincoln High School.

A Minnesota native, Kim received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Winona State University and earned her master’s degree in Kinesiology from Michigan State University.

While at Michigan State, Kim worked primarily with the men’s and women’s cross country and track and field teams and the field hockey team. Kim returned to Winona State University in 2007 where she served as an athletic trainer and adjunct faculty member for eight years. During that time, she worked primarily with the volleyball, soccer, women’s basketball, tennis, and golf teams.

She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Iowa Athletic Trainers’ Society.

Kim is married to Joel, and they have two children: Jeremiah and Madelyn.
