An award that is given out to just one player in the conference and is voted on by opposing coaches. Some of her other accomplishments include 1st Team All-Region, two-time 1st Team All-Region, and 1st Team Academic All-Region. You can still find Britt in the Iowa Lakes Softball record book for both doubles and walks.

The 2000 Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball Team finished with a 24-6 regular season record and a 12-4 conference record earning the 2nd seed in the regional tournament.

The Lakers took advantage of hosting the first two rounds of the Region XI tournament, beating Waldorf in the opening round in a tighter than expected 64-60 contest.  In the semi-final game, the Lakers delivered a strong message, repaying NIACC for the late season loss, with a 95-59 shellacking. This set up an opportunity for the Lakers to travel to Cedar Rapids and claim the Region XI championship. The Lakers did just that, knocking off Kirkwood in a tightly contested 73-71 overtime victory and punching their ticket to the National Tournament.

At the national tournament, the Lakers faced Dundalk(MD).  In what was probably the most closely contested game of the tournament the Lakers fell 88-86.  Dundalk went on to sweep through the tournament, beating their remaining opponents by double-digits.  The Lakers dropped their next game to Lackawana ending the season with a 27-8 record.

The season was filled with many awards given to the players. All- Conference was awarded to Jon Moore, Scott Stokes, Dusty Wadlington, and Quincy Young. Dusty Wadlington was named a 3rd Team All-American and Austin Colby and Scott Stokes were named Distinguished Academic All-Americans.
